(cringe, cringe, cringe) I need a "no soliciting" sign. Serious. <br /><br />I'm totally impressed with your hypothetical situation...it really made me think. We have thought of getting a gun, and then that's about as far as we got, but it wasn't even a full thinking-through- ha! Shotgun does sound most useful, as far as where you are. Maybe just the thought of KNOWING the gun is in the house provides one with a bit more confidence to defend? I could be totally wrong...just trying to think, but it's a little late for me.
